With the aim of inspiring academic achievement and helping students make informed career choices, a special workshop was conducted for the Class 10 students.
The morning session focused on “Positive Mental Attitude.” The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Akshata, Psychology Lecturer from Ujire, and Mr. Ananthapadmanabha Bhat, Correspondent of the school, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. They addressed the students and provided valuable motivational guidance.
Through inspiring life stories of young achievers, students were introduced to the importance of developing a positive mindset. Interactive discussions on self-awareness encouraged students to reflect on their strengths and potential. They also reviewed their learning experiences from Class 9 and received practical tips on effective study habits for the current academic year. As part of the session, students participated in an activity that helped them identify and formulate their future ambitions and goals.
In the afternoon, a virtual career guidance workshop was conducted by Dr. Ravish K. H., Associate Professor, CMR Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Through engaging demonstrations and examples, he emphasized the value of life, goal setting, time management, hard work, and continuous learning. He also provided detailed information about the various academic streams and career opportunities available after Class 10, guiding students on the steps required to pursue different courses and professions.
The workshops inspired students to develop self-confidence, positive thinking, and a clear vision for their future. Under the guidance of the school Headmistress, Mrs. Parimala M. V., the Class 10 students and teachers actively participated in the programme and benefited from the valuable insights shared during the sessions.
