SDM English Medium School, Dharmasthala
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational [SDME] Society, Ujire® was established with the primary objective of making education accessible and affordable to the rural youth. With the hallmarked vision of inculcating Value into Education, at present, it manages 56 educational institutions from Kindergarten to Doctoral Studies in the state of Karnataka in India. The institutions offer quality education in the fields of General, Law, Technical, Medical and Management Studies. These institutions ensure quality through updated skill sets and value-based education.
The SDME Society Trust Office is located at Ujire, which acts as the central functioning unit for all management actions for SDM Institutions. Dr. B Yashovarma, our distinguished Secretary currently heads the Society, under whose guidance the institutions have been functioning with renewed efficiency. The SDME Society was formed almost four decades ago to promote education in Ujire, a remote village in Belthangady Taluk of D.K. District. The society has been making rapid and long strides in imparting education through schools and colleges in the Karnataka State. Presently the Society is running more than 45 institutions of both professional and non professional institutions offering Degree and post graduation Degree courses. It is evident in the institutions of SDME Society that there is a unique blend of traditional and modern approaches in teaching methods. This is indeed an outcome of the great far-sighted vision of the committed leader Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade about the spiritually and socially transformed society.
The contribution of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala through imparting value – based education has been very well received as Dr. Heggade is the guiding and driving force behind it. The cherished dream of this leader to impart pragmatic skills to the youths has found another vein through this institution. The latest additions S.D.M. English Medium Schools are the result of the continuous guidance and meticulous contemplation of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggadeji.
ABOUT SDME SOCIETY
Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational [SDME] Society, Ujire, was established with a core mission: to provide accessible and affordable education to rural youth. Guided by the fundamental principle of integrating Value into Education, the Society currently manages 56 educational institutions across Karnataka, India, spanning from Kindergarten to Doctoral Studies.
