Ujire, July 21: A Career Guidance and Mobile Registration programme was successfully organized at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) Women’s Industrial Training Institute, Ujire, in association with the Industrial Training and Employment Commissionerate, Mangalore.
Addressing the students, Ms. Manjusha P., Counselor and Trainer from the Dakshina Kannada District Employment Exchange Office, highlighted the objectives of the programme and explained the Employment Exchange registration process and its benefits. She also provided valuable guidance on facing interviews at job fairs, answering employers’ questions confidently, and preparing for competitive examinations.

Students who had already registered with the Employment Exchange were advised to renew their registration immediately if it had expired and thereafter once every three years to remain eligible for employment-related services and opportunities.

Ms. Sumangala Jain, Lecturer at SDM Women’s Industrial Training Institute, presided over the programme. Ms. Apeksha welcomed the gathering and conducted the programme, while Ms. Kshama compared the event.

A total of 65 students registered with the Employment Exchange during the program.
