International Yoga Day Observed at Ujire S.D.M. Mahila I.T.I.

Ujire, June 22: International Yoga Day was observed with great enthusiasm at Ujire S.D.M. Mahila I.T.I. on Monday, with students and staff actively participating in the programme.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Sujatha, Vice Principal of S.D.M. College of Yoga and Naturopathy, Ujire, described yoga as India’s precious heritage and an effective means of maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
She said that regular yoga practice not only strengthens the body but also brings peace of mind, improves concentration, and promotes a healthy lifestyle. Stressing the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life, she urged everyone to devote a few minutes each day to yoga and contribute to building a healthier society.
The programme also featured a practical yoga session conducted by Dr. Maniraj, Senior Lecturer at S.D.M. College of Yoga and Naturopathy. who demonstrated various yoga asanas and guided the participants through the exercises.

Teaching and non-teaching staff members, along with students of the institution, participated in the event, making the celebration a meaningful and inspiring occasion.
