Admissions 2026–27

Three routes in. One application to track.

Karnataka domicile students apply via KCET; other-state, NRI and lateral-entry candidates apply directly to our admissions office.

How to apply

Admission routes.

Route 1

KCET Counselling

For Karnataka-domicile students. Register with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), participate in seat-matrix counselling rounds, and report to KITE with your allotment order.

Route 2

Management / NRI Quota

For other-state, NRI and management-quota seats. Apply directly to the admissions office with Class 12 marks card and entrance score (KCET/COMEDK/JEE, where applicable).

Route 3

Lateral Entry (2nd Year)

Diploma holders in a relevant discipline may apply for lateral entry into the second year via the DCET counselling process conducted by KEA.

Reservation as per Government of Karnataka norms applies to KCET-counselled seats. Lateral entry eligibility requires a relevant diploma with minimum aggregate as prescribed by KEA/VTU.

Process

What happens after you apply.

Step 1

Submit application / KCET option entry

Complete the online enquiry form below, or submit your KCET option entry with KITE listed as a preference.

Step 2

Document verification

Class 10 & 12 marks cards, entrance scorecard, category/income certificates (if applicable), and photo ID.

Step 3

Seat confirmation & fee payment

Confirm your seat and pay initial fees online via the Fee Payment page or at the accounts office.

Step 4

Orientation week

New students attend a one-week orientation covering academics, campus facilities, hostel allotment and club sign-ups.
