1000th de-addiction camp was held at Dharmasthala on Saturday. 1403 de-addicts from 10 camps at different places participated. H.H. Prabhu Chenna Basava Swamiji of Motagi Mutt, Athani of Belgaum who inaugurated the Camp said by voluntarily de-addiction, a healthy society will be formed. He appreciated the services of Sri Heggade. Ayush State Minister Sripad Yesso Nayak, Forest Minister Sri B. Ramanath Rai, Mangalore M.P. Sri Nalin Kumar Kateel M.L.A. Sri K. Vasantha Bangera participated as Chief Guests. Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D. Veerendra Heggade presided over the function and appreciated the firm decision of de-addicts to lead a happy and peaceful life.
