The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new Annex building of SDM English Medium School, Ujire, was held on 19th February 2025. The auspicious occasion was marked by the presence of Sri D. Harshendra Kumar, Honorable Secretary of SDME Society, Ujire, who laid the foundation stone.
The event was attended by the heads of various SDM institutions, who were invited to witness this important milestone. Dr. Satheeshchandra S, Secretary of SDME Society, Ujire, and Mr. Pooran Varma, CEO for IT and Hostels, SDME Society, Ujire, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
The delegates were warmly welcomed by Mr. Manmohan Naik K. G., Principal of SDM English Medium School, Ujire.
The students, dressed in traditional Yakshagana costumes, welcomed the esteemed guests with Poornakumbha, adding a cultural vibrancy to the ceremony.
The delegates, principal, and students collectively lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the school’s growth.
