On January 26, 2025, SDM English Medium School, Ujire commemorated the 76th Republic Day with remarkable enthusiasm and a strong sense of patriotism. The festivities began at 9:30 A.M. with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, which marked the official start of the day’s events. The honor of raising the tricolor was given to the Fire Engine Inspector of Belthangady, who attended the session as the chief guest. The school principal and the fire engine officer stood together during the flag-hoisting, representing unity and reverence for the nation.

The event was expertly organized by Mrs. BhagyaShree, with assistance from Mrs. Padmavathi, Mrs. Sangeetha, and Mrs. Mamatha, who played key roles in ensuring the program ran smoothly. Following the flag-hoisting, a series of lively cultural performances took place, highlighting the students’ talents and their commitment to celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage and diversity.

The celebration was attended by students, teachers, and staff, all united in honoring the spirit of the Indian Constitution and its core values.
