On November 26, 2025, our school proudly celebrated the 77th birthday of Veerendra Heggadeji, with the esteemed presence of Dr. L.H. Manjunatha as our honoured guest.
To mark this significant occasion, our students produced a magazine that featured Heggadeji motivational quotes, photographs, and reflections. The lower class students contributed by creating a photo collection book, greeting cards, charts, and quizzes, with prizes awarded to the winners.

For the high school students, we organized three projects that highlighted the success stories of Dharmasthala through PowerPoint presentations, artwork, and quizzes. Top performers were recognized with prizes. A beautiful song, composed by Ms. Suma Shrinath and performed by the students of class 7C, was presented during the morning assembly and the stage program.

Additionally, we introduced the “Suvichara” the book of noble concepts and launched first edition on this special day. The event concluded with a cultural programme that focused on expressing gratitude. Dr. L.H. Manjunatha commended on the efforts made and expressed his admiration for the role of SDM education in the development of Ujire. He extended his wishes to the management and students. We are indeed fortunate to have such a guiding light in our lives. Video clips were also included as part of this programme.
