On December 16, S.D.M. English Medium School, Ujire celebrated its “Prize Distribution Day” as part of the Annual Day festivities. During her address, Chief Guest Mrs. Sonia Varma emphasized, “Each moment holds the value of a golden coin. The aim of every competition is to unveil the hidden potentials. Rather than measuring oneself against other, we should appreciate our own unique talents.”

Mrs. Verma presented awards to the winners of various competitions for both primary and high school students. Prizes for Kindergarten participants were awarded by alumni Dr. Dileep Kumar, Mr. Atishaya Jain, Mr. Vijesh Jain, and Mr. Sharmith alumni of our school. The event showcased lively performances by students, featuring group dances, singing, and instrumental music played on the flute, harmonium, tabla, and veena.

The programme was led by the school’s Principal, Mr. Manmohan Naik K.G., with Mrs. Vidyalakshmi, Headmistress of S.D.M. English Medium (State Curriculum) School, Ujire, was also in attendance on the dais. Teacher Mrs. Shanty George served as the event’s host.
