On August 12, Ian Thomas, the CEO and Executive of Team Multi Academy in England, paid a visit to the SDM English Medium (CBSE) School, Ujire.

During his time at the school, he interacted with the students and recounted his experiences of his recent trip to Mangalore.

Teacher Shanty George highlighted the academic accomplishments of the institution. The event was attended by Principal Manmohan Naik K.G., Correspondent Shrutha Jitesh from SDM English Medium School , Mangalore, Principal Joy Jeevan Rai, and Educational Coordinator Usha Hegde.

The students performed Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance, along with Tulu cultural presentations such as Yakshagana and Tulu poetry. Additionally, an exhibition featuring arts and crafts and science models was organized. Teacher Kalyani M. Rao served as the host for the event.
