On July 1: S. D. M. Kindergarten organized an engaging and educational event, the Shapes and Shades Fest, which captivated both young children and their parents. Under the guidance of Mrs. Smrthi, the event aimed to creatively introduce children to geometrical shapes and colours through a series of enjoyable activities.

A standout feature of the fest was the active participation of parents, who prepared snacks in various, shapes, in triangles, circles, and squares. This creative initiative not only provided a visual delight for the children but also reinforced their understanding of shapes in a hands-on and interactive manner.

Throughout the day, children eagerly took part in action songs and dances centered on shapes and colours. These energetic performances allowed them to link physical movement with learning, making the experience both funfilled and informative. Additionally, a skit was presented; showcasing characters that represented different shapes and colors, effectively illustrating the importance of shapes in everyday life through an entertaining narrative.

The event wrapped up with encouraging remarks from Mrs. Smrthi, whose presence added a unique charm to the celebration, highlighting the commitment of the kindergarten staff.
