“Students are lagging behind in writing skills due to multiple-choice questions,” said Purushotham Shetty, vice principal of Vivekananda PU College, Mundaje. “The art of writing is slowly being lost”. He was speaking at a guest lecture organized by the English department at SDM Residential Pre-University College, Ujire. Shetty shared information about the recent changes in the second PU question paper pattern with students. College principal Sunil Pandit presided over the event. Bhavyashree, lecturer of the English department, compered and welcomed the guests.
