This is a student friendly book which gives various informtions like how to improve retention power of a student and what are the courses after II PUC. Some tips to parents to look after the children.
Enrichment training programme was held in A.V room on 23 Jan 2019. Mr. Panduranga was the guest and trainer. He trained all the staff on how to build a healthy human relationship in a work place. Mr. Vikram welcomed and introduced. Mr.Sunil Pandit proposed vote of thanks.
SDM Residential PUC observed ‘World Humanity Day’ on the 2nd of January 2020. Dr. K V Nagarajappa, Asst. Professor in Kannada at SDM College Ujire participated as the Chief Guest. He shared the life messages and principles of the laureate Kuvempu at the occasion. Principal of SDM Residential PU Dr. T Krishnamurthy Presided over the event.
SDM Residential PU College,Ujire celebrated new year in the college premise. Dr. Kumar Hegde Lecturer Department of Botany was the guest speaker. He wished to students and Students drew the picture of India and lit light surrounding to it.
A Condolence meeting was held in the Institute on 30th Dec 2019 to pay tribute to the divine soul of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejavar Mutt, Udupi. Shri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji of the Pejavara Mutt was a prominent seer who was closely affiliated with Dharmasthala and all the institutions of SDM for decades. Most faculty and students of SDM feel a personal loss at the demise of the divine soul.
Annual Day Celebration was observed in SDM Residential PU College on 7th Dec 2019. Dr.Virupaksha Devaramane, famed Psychiatrist, Dr.A.V Baliga Memorial Hospital, Udupi was the chief guest. He shared his experience with parents. He also added that parents should know how to handle children from the beginning. Dr.B Yashovarma, the Secretary of SDME Society presided over the function. Dr.T.Krishnamurthy Principal, Samarth S Shetty President, students’ council Dhanush Gowda secretary, Students’ council were seen on the stage. Mr.Suni pandit welcomed the gathering and Dr.Naganna Proposed vote of thanks. Mrs. Vani hosted the programme.
Prof.Nanda Kumari Lecturer Department of Chemistry SDM College ,Ujire has done Guest Lecture onâ€Corrosion and prevention of Corrosion†for IIPU students on 9 Dec 2019 in IIA and IIB classroom.
Annual Athletic meet 2019-20 was held in Ratnavarma stadium on 30 Nov 2019. Mr. Vinaya Kumar C Director RUDSETI, Ujire was a chief guest. He told many students are not participating in any sports and games instead of that they participate in online games which do not give any physical activity to the body.
The annual fancy dress competition of SDM Residential PU College was observed on the college ground on 5 Dec 2019. Students participated as individuals and groups, making the contest a huge success. All faculty and students were present at the event.
‘Heera Moti’, a captivating play by Tumari Kinnara Mela was organized at SDM Residential PU on the 1st of December 2019, at the prayer hall.
Career guidance programme was done to II PU students by Dr.Nagaraj Poojary Department of Economics SDM College Ujire on 30 Nov 2019. He guided students about the career opportunity after PUC.
