“If the life of Poojya Dr. Veerendra Heggade serves as an inspiration for us, everything else will naturally fall into place. His service is unparalleled. His contributions and achievements in the fields of religion, politics, education, and administration are not just a guiding light for today’s youth but will also illuminate the paths of future generations,” said Dr. L.H. Manjunath, retired Executive Director of Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Speaking further, he added, “Just like the glow of a budding sapling, the radiance of Poojya Heggade’s childhood continues to shine as a beacon for the world even today. Known as ‘Maatanado Manjunatha’ (Manjunatha who speaks), he has etched his place in the hearts of people with his actions and service.” The program was presided over by the college principal, Shri Sunil Pandit, who remarked, “Many lives steeped in darkness have been illuminated by Poojya Heggade’s efforts. Celebrating his birthday is indeed a privilege for all of us.”
The event witnessed the participation of the college’s vice principal, Mr. Manish Kumar, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff. The students of the college began the event with prayers. Sanskrit lecturer Mahesh S.S. offered the vote of thanks and anchored the program.
