Using mobile phones and money are two major detractors in our children’s lives; reducing their usage will improve their lives. Excessive care and affection from parents can harm children; a father’s discipline and a mother’s love should support a child’s growth. Parents should instill resilience to face tough situations. If students work like a crow and focus like a crane, they can overcome any hardships. Parents should not succumb to children’s pressures; instead, they should teach them to integrate with society, develop tolerance, and face challenges, stated Mr. Ravi M.N., Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Commerce Department at Poonjalkatte Government Degree College.

College Principal Mr. Sunil Pandit, who presided over the meeting, highlighted the importance of parents’ roles in students’ education and future. Social reformer Ramachandra was honored, and high-achieving pre-university students were felicitated. Physics lecturer Mr. Ramesh Babu provided information on CET/NEET/JEE classes. Assistant Principal Mr. Manish Kumar and SDM institution’s student Welfare Officer Mr. Yuvaraj Poovani were also present on the dais. Biology lecturer Mrs. Vani M.A gave the introductory remarks. Students led the prayer, and Sanskrit lecturer Mr. Mahesh S.S. anchored the event.
