National Doctors’ Day with a special programme aimed at inspiring students to pursue careers in the medical profession.
The chief guest, Dr. Deepali Dongre, a renowned dental surgeon from Ujire, was accorded a unique welcome through a short skit presented by the school’s Cuba and Bulbuls. She was felicitated by the members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Interact Club, and Junior Red Cross.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Dongre provided comprehensive career guidance on the medical profession. She explained the structure of the MBBS programme, the pathway to becoming a doctor, the various branches of medicine and the factors to consider while choosing a medical specialization. She encouraged students to pursue their aspirations with determination. Drawing from her personal and professional experiences, she inspired the students to strive for excellence and serve society with compassion.
The programme was organised under the guidance of the Headmistress, Mrs. Parimala M. V. The event was compered by student Amulya, while Jahnavi delivered the welcome address, Nidheeksha introduced the chief guest, and Chinthana proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by teaching staff and students of the school.
