The inauguration ceremony of all the school clubs was held at SDM English Medium School, Dharmasthala. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Sridhara Bhat, Head of the Department of Sanskrit, SDM College, Ujire, who lit the ceremonial lamp and formally launched the activities of the clubs. Following the inauguration, all ten clubs of the school presented their annual action plans through various art forms such as drama, dance, storytelling, poetry, and songs.
As the chief guest, Dr. Sridhara Bhat appreciated the innovative ideas and presentations of the different clubs. In his address, he highlighted the importance of education, the significance of student life and how it should be lived meaningfully, the value of simple food, the need for hard work, the importance of setting goals and finding the right path to achieve them, and the power of prayer. He also emphasized the necessity of utilizing opportunities effectively, the importance of clubs in the competitive world, and how students can make the best use of them. He explained these concepts vividly through several inspiring examples.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Headmistress, Mrs. Parimala M. V. The teaching staff and students of the school actively participated in and witnessed the event.
