Principal's Message

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to MMK & SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, a premier institution managed by the illustrious SDME Society, Ujire. For over three decades, our college has stood as a beacon of women's empowerment, academic excellence, and holistic development in the heritage city of Mysuru.

Under the visionary guidance of our President, Poojya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, we strive to blend modern, technology-driven education with deep-rooted cultural and ethical values. Our mission is to provide an environment where young women can discover their potential, hone their skills, and emerge as confident leaders ready to face global challenges.

Adapting to the Future

In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, our academic framework is designed to be highly flexible, multidisciplinary, and research-oriented. We have upgraded our infrastructure, integrated digital learning tools, and expanded our skill-enhancement courses to ensure our students are not just degree-holders, but highly employable professionals and innovative thinkers.

Our dedicated faculty members serve as mentors rather than mere instructors, guiding students through rigorous academics, extensive extracurricular activities, and community service initiatives like NSS and YRC.

A Commitment to Excellence

Our continuous high grades from NAAC and recognition in national rankings validate our commitment to quality. However, our true success lies in our alumni, who are making significant contributions in various fields across the globe.

I invite you to explore our campus, engage with our community, and become a part of the SDM legacy. Together, let us shape a bright and empowered future.
