SDM Education Society established SDM ITI for Women in 2006 at the Manjushree Building, Belal Road, Ujire, a rural region situated near the historic and renowned pilgrimage center of Dharmasthala. The institution functions under the esteemed management of SDM Educational Society®, Ujire, with a commitment to empowering women through quality vocational education and skill development.
The institute commenced its journey with the Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade and received affiliation from the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET) in 2008. To expand its vocational training opportunities, the institute introduced the Sewing Technology trade in 2011 after obtaining the necessary affiliation in 2010. Since its inception, SDM ITI for Women has been dedicated to providing industry-relevant training and fostering the personal and professional growth of women students.
