About SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences

Established in August 1989 by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences is a nationally acclaimed pioneer of holistic healthcare education.

It was the first institution in India to offer the recognised 5.5-year Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) degree course, followed by postgraduate MD programmes.

The college is paired with a full-fledged teaching hospital where students receive hands-on training in hydrotherapy, mud therapy, dietetics, acupuncture, fasting therapy, and yoga therapy.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 / Pre-University Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC categories).
  • Completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year.
  • Qualified NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) or qualifying institutional counseling as prescribed by RGUHS / AYUSH.

How to Apply (Steps)

1 Obtain official Application Form from College Admissions Office or download from portal.
2 Submit completed application with attested marks cards, Transfer Certificate (TC), Conduct Certificate, and passport photos.
3 Verification of original documents during campus admission counseling.
4 Complete fee deposit at Karnataka Bank on-campus counter to confirm admission.
