About SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire

Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College (Autonomous), Ujire, was founded in 1966 under the divine visionary leadership of Sri D. Veerendra Heggade at Siddavana Gurukula.

Granted Autonomous status in 2007, it has evolved into a premier centre of academic excellence in Dakshina Kannada. The institution offers comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, and Social Work.

The college boasts modern laboratories, an active research centre (Dr. Ha. Ma. Na. Research Centre), sports facilities, and a vibrant cultural environment.

  • For Postgraduate programmes: Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks.
  • Adherence to Mangalore University and Autonomous College academic statutes.
