About the Institution

Our History

Founded in 1940 by the late Sri D. Manjayya Heggade at Ujire, about 7 km from Dharmasthala, to revive the ancient Indian gurukula system.

Modern worldly education combined with moral values and spiritual education that teaches the greatness of our culture and heritage.

Later strengthened by the late Dr. D. Ratnavarma Heggade. The current president is Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, who expanded facilities and added vocation-oriented education for self-reliance.
