College National Service Scheme Unit 2019-20 inaugurated on 12.09.2019 by Prof. Balakrishna Shetty, Principal of Shree Ramakrishna College, Mangaluru. Dr. Tharanath, Principal, Mr. Pushparaj, NSS Officer and Mr. Naresh Malligemadu, Red Cross Convener presided over the inauguration.
On 14.9.2019 Selection Moot Court Competition is organised and inaugurated by Vice President of Alumni Association Shri Udaya Prakash Muliya. H.V.Raghavendra, Notary & Secretary of Mangalore Bar Association & the Advisor to the Alumni Association is chief Guest on the occassion. Senior Advocates M.R.Ballal, Nandakishore, Varadaraj A, KSN Rajesh, Mani K.V., Rajesh K.G., Kishore B.K., Guruprasad and many other Memebers of Mangalore Bar Association were the presiding officers for the Competition. Around 58 teams were participated.
“Corporate to Campus”, An interactive session with Mrs. Dhivya Rao, Associate, Vakils Associated, Hyderabad was organised by our college Training and Placement Cell on 13/9/2019. Around 150 students were participated
Orientation for all the first year students of Law and Parents held on 7th August 2019. Dr. Tharanath, Principal inaugurated the programme.
Interview for the post of secretaries and coordinators was conducted on 21st August by a panel of faculty members.
On 26th June 2019 our college celebrated International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking – ‘health for justice, justice for health’ – underlining the importance of a holistic approach involving health, human rights, criminal justice and social service institutions. Law relating books on drugs are displayed in our college library.

Our college celebrated World Environmental Day by planting a sapling in the college premises. The Principal,Staff and students actively participated in the program.
On 10.05.2019 State Level Inter College Debate Competition was held in Visveswarapura College of Law, Bangalore. Our college students Mr. Jithin, Mr. Manikanta, Ms. Krithika and Ms. Sharanya participated and secured first place in the debate competition
Education Post Higher Education Review, Annual Ranking Issue 2019 (Volume 8th Issue 4) under Indian Institutional Ranking Framework has ranked as 13th Best Private Law College in India.
