In 1972, he held the first Mass Marriage function where 88 couples tied the knot.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ceremony was meaningful and simple but was celebrated nonetheless. Gifts were given to the couples, gold mangasutras were gifted to the brides, food was provided for the guests and no stone was left unturned to make the occasion a special one.
