The School Parliament Election was conducted at SDM English Medium School, Dharmasthala, providing students with a practical experience of the democratic election process.
The election was organised by following the procedures used in the General Elections, enabling students to gain first-hand knowledge of the voting system. Students filed their nomination papers before the Headmistress, Mrs. Parimala M. V.
An Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) was used for polling, and the students’ Aadhaar cards served as their identity cards during the voting process. The entire election was conducted in a systematic and transparent manner, helping students understand the importance of democracy, responsible voting, and leadership.
The elected office bearers of the School Parliament are:

Education Minister: Samarth Bhat
Irrigation Minister: N. Bhakti
Discipline Minister: Tejas S.
Food and Health Minister: Allina T. A.
Cultural Minister: Ashwith
Sports Minister: Adya Rai
The school teaching staff supervised the preparation of the polling booth and the operation of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
