Tudita Programme Brings Cheer to Differently Abled and Bedridden Persons. The Junior Red Cross Unit of SDM English Medium School, Dharmasthal, has been actively carrying out a unique and compassionate community outreach initiative titled “Tudita Programme.” The programme aims at identifying and supporting differently abled and bedridden individuals living in and around the surrounding areas of Dharmasthala. Under this initiative, the Junior Red Cross volunteers, with the guidance of dedicated teachers, prepare a detailed list of households where people with special needs or long-term illness reside. Special teams comprising teachers and students, then visit these homes during national festivals and important occasions. Spreading joy, care, and a sense of belonging among the beneficiaries. During each visit, students present cultural programmes, patriotic songs, and meaningful interactions that uplift the morale of the residents.
