Assistant Professor of the Hindi Department at SDM College, Ujire, Shruti Manakikar has been appointed as the new Program Officer for Unit-2 of the National Service Scheme (NSS) at the college. On February 25, Principal Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, NSS Unit-1 Program Officer Dr. Mahesh Kumar Shetty H., and outgoing NSS Unit-2 Program Officer Deepa R.P. officially handed over the responsibilities to Shruti Manakikar and extended their best wishes for her tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde approaches retirement, he was honored on behalf of the NSS unit in recognition of his contributions as a former NSS Program Officer. Additionally, Shwetha K.G., who represented Mangalore University at the State-Level Youth Festival held at Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, Gadag, from February 18 to 22, was felicitated by the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
