Dr A P Bhat explained about origin, periodic motion,elliptical path and different parts of the comets. Comets are having long elliptical orbits and they take long duration to take a round around the sun. Neowise comet comes once in nearly 7000 yrs, he added. Programme ended with with interactive session.
