A team from Azim Premji Foundation visited the SDM College (Autonomous) PG Center on 22 October to conduct campus recruitment for the students of MSW, M.Sc. Chemistry\/Organic Chemistry, M.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Biotechnology, MA English and MA Economics. Mr. Balakrishna, State Recruiter, Azim Premji Foundation, oriented the students on the activities carried by their foundation.\u00a0 The Foundation mainly emphasizes on teaching-learning pedagogical approach and they select the students in this regard to make them as trainers to bring innovations in teaching.\u00a0 He also told that students will be placed in Teacher Learning Centers (TLC) to inculcate innovative teaching methods in school teachers.<\/p>\n

The team conducted aptitude and subject test for two hours and the results will be announced in the second week of November. The Recruitment Co-ordinator of the foundation, Mr. Vijaykumar S was present during the program. 117 students participated in campus recruitment process. \u00a0Dr. Shashiprabha, Co-coordinator, Training and Placement Committee, Mr. Ravishankar K R, HOD, Department of Social Work and Dr. Athul Semith, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work coordinated the program.<\/p>\n
