Studies and Research in English<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b6ae19 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1b6ae19\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Established in 2013<\/p><p>The Department aims at preparing the students who take up this course to become conscientious teachers and insightful researchers. Today, the job market in all fields has ample opportunities for those who have language competencies. The Two-year-program has components that shall help the students immensely to equip themselves with all the requisite skills. The courses in theatre studies, film studies, translation studies and ELT focus on the experiential learning. This M.A. Program, with Special Papers in non-British literatures like American, Black, Postcolonial, Dalit and Regional literature along with British Literature intends to familiarize the students with various literatures of the world. Highly qualified faculties in the dept. with a vast teaching experience are not only earnestly engaged in teaching-and-learning but also in research and training. Students are given intensive training in research methodology, communicative skills, content writing, film appreciation, theatre and other skills relevant to various professions.
