The P.G. Department of Journalism &amp; Mass Communication has started a two-year full-time degree in response to the increasing demand for talented individuals who are both creative and competent in the rapidly expanding media field.<\/p><p>The department employs highly skilled instructors with strong research backgrounds and actual media experience. The department contains a modern multimedia studio and \u201cRadio Ninada,\u201d a Community Radio Station. The department publishes the daily practice journal \u201cSDM Gazette,\u201d which is edited and designed by the students, as well as the weekly news bulletin \u201cNammura Varthe\u201d for the local channel. Short films, documentaries, radio shows, live interviews, and panel discussions can all be produced by students. Which gives on-ground training in news reporting, anchoring, voice-over, scriptwriting and video editing), documentary, short film, segments, personality interviews, corporate video etc.<\/li><li>Print media activity training through a daily gazette.
