It offers M.Sc in Biotechnology programme. In the year 2017, it was considered as one among premier institutions to execute BiSEP as Post Graduate Diploma in Fermentation and Bio Processing, supported by DBT &amp; Dept. of IT, BT &amp; Science &amp; Technology, Government of Karnataka.<\/p><p>Thus, programme provides expertise in scientific learning along with skills to expedite various career paths in industrial processing, health care, agriculture, forensics and environment management. Updated curricula, advanced lab facilitates for studies and research initiatives provide a solid foundation for building a strong career in the future. The Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory of the department caters to the micro propagation of many endangered medicinal plants.
