Siddhavana Gurukula<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Siddhavana Gurukula is a unique styled and free hostel for students excelling in academics and sports. It was established in 1940, and has accomplished 75 years of effective fostering of selected meritorious students of SDM. With a capacity of about 250, the fully furnished hostel functions in the ancient Gurukula model.<\/p>

This hostel functions under the Gandhian concept of learning and the students attend philosophy and Bhagvadgeeta classes every day. Their schedule extends from 5.30 AM to 10.30 PM.<\/p>

It has a farm and a dairy managed entirely by the resident students. The diet plan here is very complimentary to maintain good health. The wards enjoy the benefits of a plethora of training initiatives for their overall development of personality. Siddhavana has a long-standing reputation for being the apt place for fostering well disciplined students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dheemanth hostel for boys is a well furnished accommodation facility with 44 two bedded, 11 three bedded and 74 four bedded rooms accommodating a total of 400 students. It is located behind the PG campus of SDMC Ujire, about one kilometre away from the Dharmasthala Maha Dwara at Ujire.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dheemanth and Dheemahi hostels have a common dining hall \u2018Divyahna\u2019 which caters to the nutrition requirements of the students, four times a day. The mess provides clean, hygienic and sumptuous vegetarian food. Hostel residents have access to facilities such as sports, multi gym, health care and Wi-Fi.
