Rovers and Rangers unit of the college began in 1995. It is a unit of The Bharath Scouts and Guides. It is a voluntary, non-political, educational platform for young people, open to all without any distinction of origin, race or creed in accordance with the principles, purpose and method conceived by the founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907. Rovering and Rangering are meant for Boys and Girls aged between 16 and 25 with \u201cService\u201d and \u201cAdventure\u201d as its twin mottos. Training Programme on \u201cKnots\u201d, \u201cFirst Aid\u201d, Gandhi Jayathi celebration, Band \u2013 set service for the celebration of Independence Day, Republic Day Celebrations and Annual Sports Meet, Awareness Programmes, Drug Bank , Blood Donation Camps are the focused areas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

  • Mr Prasad Kumar, Dept of commerce SDM College Ujire has guided Six Rovers and Five Rangers of RR unit for the third consecutive time and secured Rajapuraskar Award 2020-21, which is organised by Bharat Scouts and Guides ,Karnataka.<\/li>
  • One Rovers and Two Rangers has participated in \u201cNIPUN Exam 2021\u201d organized by Baharth Scouts and Guide training centre Mangalore held at Vivekananda College Puttur on 28\/03\/2021.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    • Rajya Puraskar Exam<\/strong>\n

      5 Rovers (Amarnath, Bopanna of III BBA, Nikhil, Sagar and Sujith of III B Com) and 2 Rangers (Sridevi of III B COM and Raksha of III BBA) have attended the Rajya Puraskar Exam under the guidance of Ms. Vasanthi MK and Prasad Kumar. The exam was conducted by Bharath Scouts and Guides, Karnataka at Bharath Scouts and Guides State Centre, Kodajji, Harihara Taluk, Davanagere District.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • 6 Rovers and 7 Rangers attended Nipun Exam conducted by Bharath Scouts and guides Dakshina Kannada District held at DTC, Pilikula.<\/li>\n
    • Extension Activity<\/strong>
      The unit organized the extension activity to the Rovers and Rangers to Anganvadi at Dompadapalke Village. 16 Rover and Rangers participate in it and they conducted few activites and games for the Anganvadi Children. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Vasanthi MK and Mr. Prasad Kumar. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
