The event was jointly organized by the Department of Kannada, SDM College, Ujire, Rashtrakavi Kuvempu Pratishthana, Kuppalli, and the IQAC and Department of Kannada, Besant Women\u2019s College.<br>Dr. Rajashekhara Nugadooni, coordinator of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu Pratishthana, introduced the theme and urged students to visit Kuvempu\u2019s birthplace and read his literary works.<br>Prof. Rajshekhar Hebbar C., Administrator of Besant Institutions, also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Praveen Kumar K.C., Principal of Besant Women\u2019s College, presided over the programme.<br>Senior faculty members Jnaneshwari Y.M., Nishmitha K., Dr. Goutham G., and Jyothsna were present.<br>Dr. Giriyappa, Head of the Kannada Department, welcomed and introduced the guests. Students Sakshi D. Ameen, Shravya, Sinchana, and Deeksha Kamath rendered Kuvempu\u2019s bhavageetes (lyrical poems).
