The institution has been ranked among the top colleges in India across multiple disciplines, earning praise for its academic excellence, infrastructure, student satisfaction, and overall performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rankings were based on a comprehensive assessment that included parameters such as academic achievements, extracurricular activities, learning facilities, admission trends, placement records, affordability, awards and honors received by the college, and feedback from parents and students, alongside administrative efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <em>India Today<\/em> survey, the college earned the following national ranks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BA<\/strong> \u2013 62nd<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Sc.<\/strong> \u2013 77th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Com.<\/strong> \u2013 97th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BCA<\/strong> \u2013 30th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BBA<\/strong> \u2013 43rd<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MSW<\/strong> \u2013 27th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Journalism<\/strong> \u2013 22nd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Remarkably, the <strong>Journalism department<\/strong> has been placed <strong>4th<\/strong> and the <strong>MSW department<\/strong> ranked <strong>10th<\/strong> among top colleges in their respective categories at the national level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <em>The Week<\/em> survey, SDM College also performed notably:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BA<\/strong> \u2013 78th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Sc.<\/strong> \u2013 96th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Com.<\/strong> \u2013 117th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Journalism<\/strong> \u2013 25th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Satishchandra S., Secretary of SDM Educational Society, commended the achievement and congratulated the college faculty, students, and administrative team for their consistent efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principal Dr. Vishwanath P., in an official statement, noted that SDM College has consistently featured in the top 100 colleges in previous years as well, and this year\u2019s performance reaffirms the institution\u2019s national standing and commitment to quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SDM College, Ujire Secures Top National Rankings in &#8216;India Today&#8217; and &#8216;The Week&#8217; SurveysDepartments of Journalism and MSW Among Top 10 in India Ujire, July 4 \u2014SDM College, Ujire, has received national-level recognition in the recently published college rankings by prestigious magazines India Today and The Week.
