{"id":19536,"date":"2025-02-22T13:25:35","date_gmt":"2025-02-22T07:55:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sdmcujire.in\/?p=19536"},"modified":"2025-02-22T13:25:35","modified_gmt":"2025-02-22T07:55:35","slug":"sdm-college-ujire-clinches-first-place-at-national-drama-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.sdmesociety.in\/sdmc_updated\/sdm-college-ujire-clinches-first-place-at-national-drama-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"SDM College, Ujire Clinches First Place at National Drama Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The play <em>\u2018Bhishmasthamana\u2019<\/em> by <strong>SDM College, Ujire<\/strong> emerged victorious at the national-level drama  competition <em>\u2018Abhinaya\u2019<\/em>, securing first place along with six divisional  awards, including the prestigious <em>Best Overall Play<\/em> title.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The competition, held at <strong>Jain  University<\/strong>, witnessed participation from over 40 teams, with only six  making it to the final round. \n  The SDM College team delivered a  stellar performance under the direction of renowned theatre artist <strong>Yashavanth  Beltangady<\/strong>, who won the <em>Best Director<\/em> award. <strong>Amit Kumar<\/strong>,  portraying the role of <em>Shri Krishna<\/em>, was awarded <em>Best Actor<\/em>,  while <strong>Amrutavarshini<\/strong>, who played <em>Arjuna<\/em>, received the <em>Best  Actress<\/em> accolade. \n  Additionally, <strong>Madan and team<\/strong> were honored with the <em>Best Music<\/em> award.
