Their first patent was awarded for research on \u201cBenzylidene Derivatives of Phenobarbital as Anti-Inflammatory Agents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The second patent focused on \u201cOxazolidine Derivatives as Anti-Tubercular Agents,\u201d detailing formulations to combat tuberculosis. Recently, their work on a chemical compound pivotal to tuberculosis treatment, titled \u201cCyano Isobutoxy Phenyl N-Substituted Benzylidene Methyl Thiazole Carbohydrazides,\u201d earned the third U.S. patent.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Jagadish Prasad D. from Mangalore University.
