Justice Kallangala noted that the Constitution, which facilitates parliamentary democracy, also prioritizes amendments aimed at public welfare. He stressed that any constitutional amendments that contradict the foundational principles of equality and empowerment are unconstitutional. Dr. Satishchandra S., Secretary of SDM Educational Society, who served as the chief guest, encouraged the youth to understand the contemporary relevance of the Constitution and strive for progress in social life.<\/p>\n
Presiding over the event, SDM College Principal Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde reflected on the significance of the Constitution in both pre- and post-independence India. He highlighted how the Constitution provides confidence to face life through equality, justice, and unity. Justice Kallangala was honored during the program. The event also saw the participation of Pushpalatha U.K., President of the Dakshina Kannada Advocates\u2019 Association, and Naveen B.K., Secretary of the Belthangady Bar Association<\/p>\n
\n Gurprasad Shetty, President of the Karnataka Advocates\u2019 Association, delivered the introductory remarks, while Belthangady Bar Association President Vasantha Marakada welcomed the gathering. The national anthem was sung by the members, and Shyam Prasad Kailar, Secretary of the Dakshina Kannada Advocates\u2019 Association, proposed the vote of thanks.
