The Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Chemistry of SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire, under its departmental association \u2018CONCHEM\u2019, organized the inaugural function of departmental activities for the academic year 2025-26, on September 30. The programme was held here at SDM PG Centre. Speaking after inaugurating the programme, Dr. B. K. Sarojini, Professor and Chairperson of Industrial Chemistry, Mangalore University, emphasized the importance of chemistry in various fields and its significant role in daily life. Presiding over the programme, Dr. B. A. Kumara Hegde, Principal, SDM College (Autonomous), highlighted the importance of engaging in activities under the association to help students gain practical experience in hosting programmes and improving communication skills.<\/p>\n
\n Dr. Vishwanatha P., Dean of PG studies and Head, Dept. of PG Studies & Research in Chemistry, SDM PG Centre, was present. Dr. Naveen Kumar, Associate Professor and Secretary of CONCHEM, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sujay M. M., Assistant Professor and Joint-Secretary of CONCHEM, delivered vote of thanks.
