Department of PG Studies in Social Work had organised an Alumni Interaction – the forum for \u2018The Dreamers and Doers\u2019 on 04-01-2021 at CR-08, SDM PG Centre, Ujire. The session was addressed by alumni of the department Ms Ananya, Associate, Azim Premji Foundation, Kalaburgi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Ananya, the alumna spoke on Social Work in School Setting and throwed light on work experience.  She oriented students on how school social worker carries out the psychosocial services within a teamwork perspective in the educational team, in solving problems because of the developmental stages or family or life conditions, utilization of services and how they carry educational activities in a successful manner. Later the session was followed by queries and discussion. Dr Chitra B C, the co-ordinator of the programme welcomed the resource person and Ms Shridevi, student of second MSW rendered vote of thanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
