Brief Report<\/td>\n

One day Workshop on Emerging Trends- Social Work and Career Opportunities in Social Sector is held.The session is started with explaining the importance of effective communication through an activity of passing a message. Then it is followed by the sharing of the expectations from the session. He asked the reason of choosing the particular specialization to the students and they shared their views and interests in the field. The session is very informative as he provided with the guidance for using Linked-in and how to grab job opportunities from it, it\u2019s uses and benefits and finally increasing our own networks with the live demo. He also conducted a demo for self-introduction, the way one has to introduce oneself in an interview and what all specific information one has to include and exclude while introducing. He conducted mock interviews to various job positions for both HR and Medical and Psychiatric students of making themselves as the recruiter and the candidate so that they can know how and in what way one has to present themselves in an interview. Afternoon session is started with individual resume checking and discussing of the students for clarifying their doubts and opinions. He also pointed out the proper contents to add and delete from the resume. He explained several benefits of the Social Work Degree and its career opportunities in various sectors both in our country and overseas. The session ended well with the sharing of the feedback by the students and the vote of thanks.<\/p><\/td>\n <\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
