The College organised a Seminar on the Challenges in Implementing the National Educational Policy 2020 in the divine premises of Sri Siddavana Gurukula on 12 February 2020. Smt. Hemavathi V. Heggade of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala inaugurated the seminar by lighting the lamp. Dr. B. Yashovarma, Secretary, SDM Educational Society Ujire in his inaugural address lamented on the education system that focuses\u00a0producing mostly the clerks and not innovation and knowledge. He felt that the pearls may be extracted\u00a0only if someone dives deep into the ocean of education.\u00a0
Prof. Narahari, Retired Registrar, St. Aloysius College Mangalore, Resource Person of the seminar presented\u00a0his views on quality and inclusive education system at the backdrop of the New Education Policy. Sri. Ramakrishna Bhat, HM, SDM School, Belal presented the challenges in the implementation of the policy\u00a0from the perspective of school education.
