In view of the promotion of Research activities, the PG Department of Chemistry in association with IQAC (PARAMARSH Scheme) organised a webinar on the topic \u2018Online Resources for Academic Research: a Primer\u2019 on 28 October 2020. Dr. K. N. Chidambara Murthy, Principal Scientist, Central Research Laboratory, M S Ramaiah Medical College & Hospitals, Bangalore was the resource person. He stressed on the importance of research and the benefits of it to the researcher as well as to the institution. He explained the available online resources for publication of research work. In detail he discussed on the citations, citation index, h-index and i10 index.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Shankaranarayana K., IQAC Coordinator briefed about the webinar and welcomed the delegates gathered on Google meet platform. Dr. Shashiprabha, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry introduced the resource person and Dr. Sowmya B P, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry was the master of ceremony and proposed vote of thanks. 40 participants attended the webinar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
