A technical talk on the Application of Vaastu in Building Construction was organized at SDM Polytechnic, Ujire, on 25th July 2025. The session was led by Er. Ishanya Padyana, Consulting Civil Engineer from Ishavas Associates, Mangalore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the talk, he provided insights on topics such as site orientation and selection, significance of directions and their elements, ideal room placements, importance of ventilation and natural light, general construction guidelines, and the dos and don\u2019ts of building design as per Vaastu principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session was attended by the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Mrs. Thripthi Shetty, faculty members from the Civil and other departments, and students of the Civil Engineering department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
