{"id":4439,"date":"2025-03-10T07:43:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T07:43:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sdmpolytechnic.in\/?p=4439"},"modified":"2025-09-10T09:37:21","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T09:37:21","slug":"hands-on-learning-civil-engineering-students-explore-construction-sculpture-sites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.sdmesociety.in\/polytechnic_new\/hands-on-learning-civil-engineering-students-explore-construction-sculpture-sites\/","title":{"rendered":"Hands-On Learning: Civil Engineering Students Explore Construction &amp; Sculpture Sites"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Civil Engineering Department<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>SDM Polytechnic, Ujire,<\/strong>&nbsp;organized a&nbsp;<strong>site visit<\/strong>&nbsp;program for&nbsp;<strong>first and second-year students<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>March 6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the visit, students explored key sites, including the&nbsp;<strong>I Care Mall<\/strong>&nbsp;construction site in Moodubidire,&nbsp;<strong>Vijaya Shilpa Shala<\/strong>&nbsp;in Hiriyangadi,&nbsp;<strong>Sri Jain Math Savira Kambada Basadi<\/strong>&nbsp;in Moodabidire, and&nbsp;<strong>Saalu Marada Timmakka Park<\/strong>&nbsp;in Pajegudde, Nellikaru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the&nbsp;<strong>I Care Mall<\/strong>&nbsp;construction site, a&nbsp;<strong>\u20b9100 crore ongoing project<\/strong>, students gained insights into various structural works under the guidance of&nbsp;<strong>Site Engineer Rajaneesh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>Vijaya Shilpa Shala<\/strong>, a renowned stone sculpture design and manufacturing unit,&nbsp;<strong>Er.
