Library<\/span><\/h1>

Library is a Centre and storehouse of knowledge. A library plays a very important role in promoting the progress of knowledge. Libraries are backbone of any civilized society and heart of any academic institutions. The collection of SDM Polytechnic library is more than 6,000 books including general reference books, donated books, literature books, text books, reference books, encyclopedias, and general knowledge books, which are available for students to access throughout the year.

\nLibrary is fully automated by EERPMS, in house developed software for the purpose of data entry, information storage, retrieval, circulation, stock verification, OPAC, report generation, student\u2019s ID scanning, bar coding of books, etc. The library follows closed access system. Books are classified according to the Dewey decimal classification and arranged on the shelves according to class number. Seating capacity of library is for 120 students at a time. The library is kept open from 8.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Separate hostel facility for boys and girls, with bath attached rooms and hygienic food, is available within the campus.     Anti Ragging<\/span><\/h1>

    The institute has zero tolerance towards ragging.
