Ginder Sharanappa Adidevappa, a second-year BA student and NSS volunteer from SDM College, Ujire, won accolades at the state-level Yuvajanotsava (Youth Festival) held at the NSS Bhavan, University of Mysore, from March 17 to 21. Representing Mangalore University, he secured third place in the debate competition and second place in drama.

College Principal Prof. Vishwanath P., along with NSS program officers Deepa R.P. and Dr. Mahesh Kumar Shetty H., congratulated him on his achievement.

Mangalore University secured a total of seven awards at the festival, including the overall championship. The university won first place in the exhibition category, second place in drama, group song, essay writing, and solo dance, and third place in solo singing and debate competitions.
