The No. 2 Folding Brownie

The No. 2 Folding Brownie

The No. 2 Folding Brownie, manufactured by Eastman Kodak from 1904 to 1907, was a popular camera of its time. It was capable of capturing photographs sized 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. The camera featured a meniscus lens, a Brownie automatic shutter with iris diaphragm stops, and a reversible finder. Additional features included two tripod sockets, imitation leather covering, nickel fittings, and a three-lock focusing device that allowed for focus adjustments at 8, 20, or 100 feet. The lens was mounted on a wooden front. The successor to this model, the No. 2 Folding Pocket Brownie, featured a metal front after 1907.
